Vision

“We expect to facilitate a community of Christ followers among the un-reached creative types of Chiang Mai that is reproducible and organic in nature.  This would be among the majority Buddhist population.”

Ministry Focus

Prayer: We know that we need to have abundant prayer for the Thai Buddhist people to come to know him.

Evangelism: It is absolutely essential that the gospel is shared often in many ways. We practice holistic ways through art and music and we do more programed ways of going out and sharing with bible stories and using litature. In the end we see that we need to try to share the gospel in many different ways, directly and relationally.  We are trying to have the attitude of being able to share with anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Discipleship: We see  this as the on going part of church planting.  If we do discipleship well, we will see a strong Thai church.

Building up the existing Thai church: We want to impact and be a blessing for the Thai believers.  Vision casting is a large part of this. Getting Thai believers invovled in reaching the lost and seeing them know how to know Jesus better and better through the word of God.  We want to be an influence and encourage the Thai leaders. We want to be good learners and students of the Thai church leadership.

Chiang Mai is a city that has many churches that consist of mostly minority tribal believers.  The vast majority of people that live in Thailand are The Thai Buddhist people.  We believe that the art and music community is a sector of Thai society that is being missed with gospel.  We are working to impact these people with Christ through holistic ministry practice of using art and music in relationships.  We are inviting Thai believer friends to lead and we facilitate and mentor them.  We believe if this is done in a natural loving way it will be reproducable and based in the power of God.  We speak boldly the gospel in the heart language of the Thai and love them well in relationships.  We are working hard to keep our events, our art and music gospel centered.  We are looking for ways to contextualize the gospel well with out compromising it.  We are now just starting out and looking forward to how God will tranform the people who come to know Jesus.  We are longing to see Thai people's lives changed and therefore communities changed.  As missionaries we are always looking for ways to see this multiply and grow in reproducable ways that Thai people can easily do and experience.  We are finding art and music a good channel to do this.
